is this just a random imprint on a coin or does it mean something?

i have a penny from 1875. one side is normal and has a figure sitting on a shield that says liberty, says united states of america, and the date (1875).but the reverse side that would normally say “one cent” has an intricate imprint or brand of a money sign with a weird border. what i want to know is if the penny is worthless or worth alot.

The 1875 one cent coin is the Indian Head, so you have something else. You’re describing the Seated Liberty obverse for the dime, twenty cent piece, quarter and half dollar, but the reverse you describe doesn’t sound like any of them. Pictures of both sides would be helpful.

It would probably save hardware, software, and ad space by rounding off to the next cent. Offhand, I can’t think of anything else in retail that is priced to “one-tenth cent.”

I believe 1/10 of a cent is part of the taxes. Just one more way for the government to get the extra pennies.

Yes, they spend lots of money on advertising and they are priced super high in comparison to other carriers like PennyDials. While callfire offers a few more gizmos, Penny dials will carry out equally as well for much less capital. If you go to callfires pricing page you will observe they have quite a few plans from 3.5 cents to approx less than two cents per minute. CHECK the asterisk by the pricing! They bill in 60 second increments which means you will be charged an full minute if the call barely last 5 secs. Wow! This means every contact will cost 1 minute no matter if its less than 60 seconds. Now, if you buy a higher quantity of minutes you are given a lower price.. You are charged in thirty second increments instead of 60 second increments. Still not a great deal! So if your call last’s five seconds you are billed for 30 seconds instead of the complete minute. Sounds better right? Well not until you see what PennyDials presents.

PennyDials offers the same voice broadcasting and auto dial service for a large amount less. Their starter package is 3.5 cents just like CallFire however they charge in 6 second billing increments! That means if your call only lasts 5 seconds you are only charged 6 seconds. So you can do that 10 times and it would merely cost you 1 minute. Callfire would charge you 10 minutes! You can do a lot more calling with 1 minute then with Callfires minute. Billing is very important. If you are searching around make certain and educate yourself on this. It can littereally double the total of buyers you get on the telephone which means more money in your pocket! This may sound silly but I’ve been playing guitar for 11 years, but I always used pedal tuners which are quite basic. I am using a hand held one and I know how to go to my preferred tunings obviously. But on this tuner is has a selection for certain keys such as in key of C. Also I notice there is a cent that states 440 hz. What is all of this?

What is the standard setting for everything. I just want to tune my guitar normally without being in some weird key. I just want my drop d tuning lol.

The key of C normally refers to the key signature of C, no sharps or flats. I would imagine that if you were looking to go into a standard tuning (E, A, D, G, B, E) or standard drop D (DADGBE), the key of C would be fine since none of those notes are sharps or flats. If you were to do a different tuning, an open tuning, 1/2 step down, 1 whole step down, you would probably need to change the key selection.
As for the cent, 440hz is the standard concert pitch for your A string. That means that when you hit the A string (in standard tuning) it will vibrate at 440 hertz (cycles) per second to make that A note that you hear. Some bands are off key. For example, Dokken, Metallica, The Doors and even Black Sabbath may have been tuned to standard tunings when they recorded, but a studio effect of slowing the tape reels is a common thing. You will find that if you are perfectly in tune, you will not be able to play their music with the MP3/CD because they are a bit off. I think Boston is guilty of this as well. If you wanted to tune your guitar with the tuner, but not to the standard concert pitch, you would use this feature. I have always opted to use my ear for tuning to off pitch recordings rather than the tuner, but its an interesting feature to have there.
